Job Summary

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating statutory and internal audits, ensuring compliance with reporting and tax filing requirements. You will be leading financial planning and analysis processes, preparing financial reports, monitoring budget performance, and handling statutory financial reporting. Additionally, you will support pricing reviews, assist the sales team with the financial aspects of tenders and contracts, and provide ad hoc financial support to various departments as needed.

Reporting Structure

  • This job reports to Head – Finance.

Job Objectives

  • Manage and coordinate statutory and internal audits, ensuring compliance with all reporting and tax filing requirements.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, providing timely reports, monitoring performance against budgets, and supporting management with ad hoc financial analyses.
  • Assist with pricing reviews, support sales in financial aspects of tenders and contracts, and provide financial assistance to other departments as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Analysis, and Reporting

  • Leads the yearly financial planning process by working closely with the Head of Finance and all other stakeholders.
  • Works closely with business units to ensure that data needed for periodic reporting are made available on time and as per agreed SLA’s.
  • Support the Head of Finance in preparing financial reporting and performing analysis of revenue leakage, cost overruns with budge
  • Continuously monitors and reports performance against budgets and highlights variances.
  • Assist in all requirements related to Board reporting to the management team.
  • Carry out all statutory financial reporting to related government departments including Tax, Free trade zone, regulatory authorities, and banks.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for the management team.
  • Ensure monthly filing of withholding taxes and contract reporting to the tax authorities

Audit and Statutory Compliances

  • Handle and coordinate the statutory audit with external auditors for all locations and its related activities.
  • Handle and coordinate the internal audit and its related activities.
  • Handle all statutory compliance and reporting requirements on an annual and ongoing basis.
  • Handle tax filing and reporting with tax auditors on annual basis.

Pricing and Financial Aspect Support

  • Contribute to the review of pricing proposals for proposals shared by the sales team along with the Head of Finance.
  • Assist Sales team for financials aspects related to tender or contract awarded.
  • Provide Ad hoc support to other departments related to financial aspects when required.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Post-graduation in Finance/Accounts or related fields is mandatory.
  • ACCA/CIMA/CMA or part Qualified CA/CPA is desirable but not mandatory.

Previous Work Experience

  • Total post-qualification experience of 5 years.
  • Experience in auditing, management reporting and analysis, and accounting and financial operations is mandatory.
  • Candidate should have experience in the finance function for an IT Services company.
  • Candidate should have worked closely with Management and C-level stakeholders.
  • Proficient user of finance software.
  • Must have knowledge of IFRS.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to manage stakeholders from different functional areas and Business Units.
  • High level of functional skills and an ability to design and implement best practices within finance.
  • Ability to navigate through business situations, which are highly challenging and ambiguous.
